we were lucky enough to have one of our dear belguin

friend join us for a few days last month

augustine ..or gus as we call him dropped in on his way from sydney to NT ...

we were super happy to see him again after 3 yrs

the kids were so young when he first met them,gus lived in sydney for 3 yrs

now they are growing up...next visit they will be on his door step ...

back packs on and wanting a bed for the night ..lol

and then there is Ruby

super talented ,super fun ,miss ruby...

my childrens chief art inspiration...lol

and boy are they inspired,

with art journals and creative work

thanks so much ruby i just couldnt get them motivated and in a day .

you had them wanting to create and they are still into it...

miss evy is a mere page or 2 from completing her first altered art journal

and how you inspired me to get my act together and recharge myself creatively

i was so blocked with this journal..but a deadline

and some youthful inspiration is alll one needs to get it flowing

but my sad computer has gone for a face lift to ruby's house ..

i've been super busy with work and family ,no daily photos,

just lots of exercise and fun...

miss Evy performed in her eisteadford(sp?) in sydney,she and her school.

their perfomance was sensational.the other schools were amazing too.

miss asti scored herself a position on the school netball team ,

which we are all super proud of her!

ruby oh miss ruby came to visit ,for a week !

we had a creative feast..i wish i could upload some

pieces and share some of my art , but well you 'll have to wait a little longer .

im having some major computer issues ..
a hard drive crash
and im sad to say that Ive basically lost ever photo that
I've taken for the last 5 yrs .:(
and that's after buying a a huge
external hard drive and moved everything over ...
and now its now where to be found ...
(Zane my f drive has disappeared)
im still hopeful that some computer wizard
some where can work there magic and find my beloved pics.....
but my pics from Adelaide are gone (Sonja-fingers crossed)
before uploading any on to my blog :(
lucky i have my blog bucket in picassa i can grab some from there
and face book has a few pics

but very few are full size

and ...... all my documents

there's a spring in my step ,because at the end of the week
I'm off to south Australia to catch up with some scrap cyber friends .
I've never been to Adelaide ,so another first for me in 2 months ,
first visiting Melbourne,now if i could just fund a
trip to Perth i would almost have meet all my cyber friends

Another fun weekend...,finally back to myself ...

but need to exercise and get back to normal life

(especially since i binged on cadbury black forest chocolate last night)

i havent seen my brother in oh so long ,
and i always love to catch up with him,

so i went out to lunch with mum and meet up for a quick catch up
im not really a club girl so it was super to find some sun
outside and hang with the kids while they played a game of pool....
hehe pool ...i do remember personally just how difficult it was to master
the art of a direct hit upon the white ball let alone
then connecting to a coloured ball and actually sinking something .
Ryan was so adorable to watch ,
his over arm technique made me cringe inside and laugh outside
i did attempt to instruct him ,
and nan also attempted to give instruction ..
its just practice ...right ..you go Ryan ...

up early..straightening one child's hair for a birthday party ..
then a pressie to make for the festive child's special day
here's how that pressie turned out

dropped that child off to her party ,
then back home to throw together

boy gifts always throw me a little...
but master Luke has a band
called MEDIA CONTROL
and this one made itself ,thanks to
the invitation for today's live band party

while the kids were very occupied with parties ,
i had a shoot to do for a friends ,sons girlfriend,

well i don't know if they are really up to portfolio standard ,
but here's a few of the 400 or so shots we took this afternoon .
.it was a bitterly cold day and i pulled this young girl down to the beach ,
poor thing ..im going to try and do this shoot again next week ,
with some natural warm light ,will see how we go..
.and im going to borrow my bosses 4 G canon camera to pop the quality up.

i think the road is to hard a surface for me and im feeling the effects..

training with Laurie for an hour and then an hour walk to finish off
this afternoon we took another hour walk ..
my body is feeling good (OK its a little sore from

Ive been punished today
im exhausted
,and we r doing it all again tomorrow
this mornings beach session ,was grueling
and with the extra beach run Zane made me do ,well
my thighs and hips are feeling it this evening
and this afternoon we went out for a hour and a half walk
lucky Astrid rode her bike ,i don't know how she
would have gone tackling all those hills
there's an eating plan happening ..miss Zane is focused and
im so in for the free personal training sessions
and personal chef (who hasn't cooked for 15 months
being trapped on the liberty of the seas and having
her own staff restaurants to cater for her )
and has taken over the shopping
cooking and general prep duties

a destination that has called me for years ..

i finally treated myself and did my best to

howdy folks...

yes ive been a little quiet since miss ruby's visit

ive been a little stuffed up with the flu,

and hoping to be well by the time i head of to melb,

wouldnt want to have a confusion

with this swine flu thats sprung up...

any way ...ruby inspired me while she was here..

her fresh ideas...here simple and arty fun approach,

and the fabulouso friends book the she is creating ,

wow ...to hold this little baby and

flick thru the pages ,its very inspring .

so much so that ive started an altered book of my own ...

well i have soooo sooo so many photos

and i know im boarding on being a bit of a narsicist ,

but,well i have changed ..and i want
